On, Monday, April 19^th will mark Deacon Emeritus Tom P. Heggs 97^th Birthday! 

Deacon Heggs is our oldest member and we would like to commemorate his birthday with a HONK-WAVE-DRIVE-THRU PARADE on next Sunday, April 18^th immediately after morning service at 1:00pm, we will assemble at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3412 22^nd Street S, Arlington, VA 22204, and line up, then proceed to drive by his home where we have arranged for him to be outside.  This will be a surprise, so please don’t spoil it and tell him about it.

To ensure his safety this will be a socially distant event, participates will remain in their vehicle honk, wave and drive thru. 

For those individuals who normally view service by Zoom we encourage you to meet at Macedonia next Sunday (April 18th) at 1:00pm.  We anticipate the drive-thru will only take a few minutes.

Deacon Heggs is a faithful servant to the SJBC family, so we hope to have as many people as possible to join us in showing him much love. 

If you can’t join us on Sunday; we encourage you to call Deacon Heggs on Monday, April 19^th and wish him a Happy 97th Birthday!
