REMINDER:
Fairfax County Community Meeting on January 10, 2023

In lieu of the January 10, 2023 Gum Springs community meeting, residents are encouraged to attend an in-person community meeting that will be held by Fairfax County on January 10, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Walt Whitman MS. There will be two presentations: 1) Affordable Housing Preservation Policy Amendment; and 2) Site Specific Plan Amendment (SSPA) nominations that includes West Ford Manor. The New Gum Springs Civic Association (NGSCA/Civic Association) voted to support the West Ford Manor SSPA nomination on October 11, 2022. The nomination was accepted by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors on December 6, 2022 into the screening phase.
Although anyone may agree or disagree with the NGSCA voting members decision to support the West Ford Manor SSPA nomination, you can express your position as an individual but not as a "body" representing any part of or on behalf of the Civic Association. The official position of the Civic Association is to support the nomination as presented to the community on October 11, 2022.
