HOW GOD WORKS: A Lesson in Faith and Trust

The Faithfulness of God
Once again, last week God showed Himself to be who He says He is and He demonstrated that if we but trust Him; He will make the crooked places straight and bring to light those things that have been done in the darkness.
Many already know that last Wednesday, June 1st we encountered some challenges; more drama unfolded on Thursday. But what you may not know is that we received an outpouring of love from supporters of the SJBC ministry who offered several venues for us to use...and we sincerely thank all those who expressed concern over the situation. In adversity you find out who your friends are and we are appreciative that we have so many in the city who have worshipped with us, prayed for and with us, and provided financial support for our cause.
We thank God for the lessons learned...we know in whom we believe and we are thankful for the leadership provided by our spiritual coach Minister Charles A. Hall. In Matthew 16:17, we find these words spoken by Jesus, "...and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Enough said.
