This page is dedicated to providing up to date information for Pastor Elect Hall's Installation. Please check here frequently, so you have the latest information. The Installation Services are scheduled for March 21-25, 2012. All activities are open to the public; however, invitations will be sent in the next few weeks. Leading up to the official installation there will be several pre-installation activities. See the schedule below for details. Please join us for spirit filled worship services as we celebrate the blessing of a new Pastor and First Lady!

Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance for a donation of $50.00 . A vegetarian meal is available upon request. To secure tickets send a check to the church (at the address below) for the number of tickets you require and tickets will be mailed to you. No tickets will be mailed after March 14th; they will be at Ticket Will Call the night of the banquet. Tickets will also be available for pick-up on Thursdays at 6PM and Sundays at 1PM at the Charles Houston Recreation Center:

* Email: If you do not feel comfortable booking through the website or call center, feel free to email or call our representative Kathryn Doran (kathryn.doran@washingtonsuitesalex.com) directly at (703) 370-9600 ext. 7272 and she can assist you with your reservation. Her office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. If you email, she'll send you a confirmation within one business day. The nightly rate is $105.00 (except Wednesday which is $149.00). Rooms must be reserved NLT March 1st.

Includes complimentary parking, airport shuttle service and High Speed Internet. The hotel is across the street from the Eisenhower Avenue Metro stop. The nightly rate is $104.00. Rooms must be reserved NLT March 1st.

The Washington Suites Hotel is approximnately 2 to 4 miles miles from the Holiday Inn and approximately 5-7 miles from the Lee Center depending on the route taken.

The Holiday Inn is approximately 2 to 3 miles from the Lee Center.

The Centiennial Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for March 20 through April 27, 2012, this will be a perfect time to visit the Nation's Capital . For more information about the festival visit the official web site at:

 

SOUVENIR PROGRAM ADS:

We will publish a souvenir program to commemorate the occasion. If you would like to place an ad offering congratulatory remarks, memoriam, etc., please forward your request and ad copy to sjbcva@aol.com NLT March 5th. Make all checks payable to St. John Baptist Church. Note payment must be received before the program goes to print.
