Pastoral Search Committee Narrows Search

The Pastoral Search Committee has been diligently searching for a Pastoral Candidate and they have narrowed the search to three finalists. The three finalists are scheduled to be introduced to the St. John Baptist Church family at various Sunday morning worship services in the foreseeable future. This will afford the congregation an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their various preaching styles.
More information will be provided as it becomes available. In the meantime, every member is encouraged to continue in prayer that God will send the shepherd He desires to lead His flock for such a time as this.
Update (11-16-11):
In the past two weeks SJBC members have received written communications from the Pastoral Search Committee with pertinent details pertaining to the upcoming vote to elect a pastor. To include eligibility criteria [in accordance with the church Constitution and Bylaws] on who may participate in the voting process.
A call business meeting for the purpose of electing a pastor is scheduled for December 11, 2011 @ 12:30p.m. The SJBC family is encouraged to seek God's direction and counsel in the comings weeks that His will be done in this process.
